To properly care for a Zygocactus (also known as a Christmas or Thanksgiving cactus), provide bright, indirect light, water thoroughly but allow the soil to dry out between waterings, and maintain a cooler temperature during the flowering period (autumn to winter). Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves, and make sure the plant has good drainage to prevent root rot.
